Droplet Park

Bani Yas, Abu Dhabi · Public park

Inspired by the fluid geometry of water droplets, the park uses circular forms to connect recreation, landscape, and community life. A central lake anchors a network of curved paths, planted gardens, and gathering spaces.

The vision / Water droplet geometry

Circular forms.
Connected experiences.

The design begins with the circle, drawing on the natural geometry of water droplets to create a sense of flow and unity. A central lake, splash pad, and sand play area bring families close to water and nature, while a cycle track, MUGA and padel courts, camping area, and café offer varied ways to enjoy the park.

Active uses are grouped for convenience, with quieter spaces set further away. Curved paths, circular planting beds, and rounded seating carry the concept through the landscape, supported by a coordinated approach to materials, planting, and furniture.

Spaces for everyday life

A shared landscape.
A place to gather.

Open plazas and shaded edges create places to pause and meet. The project views move from the wider landscape to the paths, seating, and public spaces experienced at eye level.
